It's been 75 years since The Wizard of Oz brought to life the magical, musical tale of young Dorothy and her adventures after her house gets carried away in a Kansas tornado. Released in 1939 and starring a teenage Judy Garland, the film has since become a rite of passage for kids of all ages with its catchy tunes and the lovable Tin Man, Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow, whom Dorothy befriends during her quest to get back home. The film's still as fresh, frightening and funny as ever, and now you can enjoy it on the big screen and accompanied by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra performing Harold Arlen's score. Constantine Kitsopoulos conducts, and it's a pretty sure bet you'll be humming "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" all the way home. Come dressed as your favorite character and you might even win a prize! Loved the show, but the seats were all the way in the back on the orchestra level when we were supposed to be in the "Mid" section. Slightly disappointed with the "velvet" experience and supposedly being placed at top priority, but a great show nonetheless.

I actually left about 45 minutes in to the show. The seats were really small and the theater was hot, old and out dated. The balcony seats were too far away also. I will not purchase seats anymore not knowing where they are located.
This show is recommended for ages 13 and up.
