The audience seemed to enjoy it more than I did but I can't say I regretted going . . . Was in the village and afterwards I had s bite St a nearby Ethiopian restaurant . . . The price was worth the experience . . . Main problem with play was...continued

It was pretty good. Production not great but the music was good and most of the cast was very talented.

Creative, funky, edgy production! Very well done even though set and costumes were minimalistic. Very glad I went.

A very different, modernized take on a Shakesperian classic. Acting was good, costumes were today's regular street clothing, and backdrops were representative of "now." A flexible mind is needed to fully enjoy it, but once that is accomplished, it...continued

A very interesting take on a classic. Had to get over the modern setting in order to appreciate the play. Costumes were mediocre. Would have rather seen the classic version. On the positive side, acting was great, and it was entertaining.

I loved it. However, the music was sometimes a little loud and drowned out the cast.

The theater staff was very unorganized getting us into the theater. The seats were very uncomfortable, and they play was confusing. Men were dressed as women playing women, and a woman was dressed as a woman, but playing a man. The effort to make...continued

Except for the long waiting line, everything was great. The intimate theate in the heart of The Village was cool. The show was a wonderful, modern adaptation of Shakespeare, with extra comedy and music. Really had a good time for the money.

I taught the play this summer, and was a little uneasy, but as soon as the curtain went up, i saw it would be fine! The cast did a marvelous job, several taking up multiple parts. The songs were lively, contemporary, but true to the text. I might...continued

Well played. Cute and witty. Some parts were a little too long.

I was a bit concerned when the cast broke out into song and was wearing street clothes. It was very hard to hear and understand anytime they sang, although the actor playing puck was one of the few that had a strong voice. But in the end, we...continued

Was pleasantly surprised at how professional the actors were. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and would see it again. Very creative and fun. It was better than some Broadway shows that I have spent $200+ on tickets. The theatre, however, was...continued

I had expected to see a Shakespeare play in the 'traditional' sense. This modern version was a complete suprise and would have appreciated Goldstar stating what type of performance I'd be seeing. It was an absurd interpretation of this classical...continued

Rat-hole theatre started half an hour after posted start-time, no leg-room in the aisles, horribly loud
rock music for the half-hour waiting period...and I
think I've had it with Gold Star "bargains." ~ Conte
