The University Glee Club of New York City invites you to an evening of choral music benefitting the New York Society for Ethical Culture (NYSEC). Founded in 1894, The University Glee Club of New York City is an all-male singing group with approximately 150 active singing members who span from recent college graduates to men who have sung with the UGC for more than 50 years. The glee club's repertoire covers a wide range of music including classical, Broadway musicals, sea chanteys, spirituals and traditional college songs. The New York Society for Ethical Culture has been providing non-theistic services in a congregational setting since 1876. Ethical Culture is a religion centered on ethics, not theology, whose mission is to encourage respect for humanity and nature and to create a better world. Members are committed to personal ethical development in their relationships with others and in activities involving social justice and environmental stewardship.
