Excellent show, Annie Parisse as Becky was very good but Kelly Bishop was hilarious as the mother.

Quotes & Highlights

“Firecrackers of revelation explode every few minutes in Becky Shaw, which is almost as quotably funny as Broadway’s scabrous August: Osage County — and that’s saying plenty.” —New York Times

In Gina Gionfriddo’s (After Ashley) wicked new comedy Becky Shaw, a newlywed couple fixes up two romantically challenged friends: wife’s best friend, meet husband’s sexy and strange new co-worker. When an evening calculated to bring happiness takes a dark turn, crisis and comedy ensue in this wickedly funny new play that asks what we owe the people we love and the strangers who land on our doorstep.
p.  Directed by Peter DuBois. Starring David Wilson Barnes, Emily Bergl, Kelly Bishop, Annie Parisse, Thomas Sadoski.
