Great tour, however long--3+ hours but worth it. Saw most of the entire park and although lived in NYC and go in frequently now, never knew of the many things shown us. Very knowledgeable tour guide in Max.

More Information

The meeting point for the tour is in front of the Sherry-Netherland Hotel clock on Fifth Avenue (781 5th Avenue).

The tour lasts between 3 and 3.5 hours.

Walking distance is between 3 and 4 miles.

Please be advised that this three-hour tour requires a moderate level of fitness.

Assuming the benches in the park are not wet, there will be occasional opportunities to sit down (while your guide tells you interesting stories!). However, this tour does involve several short walks uphill and a few staircases to climb and descend.

There will be one restroom break on the tour.

Each participant will be offered a complimentary bottle of water and a sweet snack.

Guide gratuities are not included in the tour price, so if you enjoy your tour, tips are very much appreciated.
