It was a beautiful performance. The costumes were gorgeous and the cast is very talented. It was interetsing to learn more about chinese culture and the virtues they value. This may be a nice show for older children and adolescents, or families.

“The number one way for New York families to celebrate the [Chinese] New Year!” —MSNBC News

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar. A magical feast for the eyes and ears, Chinese New Year Splendor made its debut in 2004 in New York City. With English and Chinese hosts guiding you through the beauty of China’s 5,000-year-old culture, the celebration has over 100 international Chinese artists coming together for this breathtaking show of epic proportions.

In four short years, Chinese New Year Splendor has grown to become the largest and most extravagant celebration of Chinese New Year in the world, performing more than 120 shows in 60 cities across four continents for an estimated audience of over half a million people.

Billboard magazine declared the sold-out February 2006 production at Radio City Music Hall to be one of the top 10 shows of the year.
