In this memory play by award-winning writer Yasmine Beverly Rana, a 30-year-old woman revisits key points in her life in an effort to understand and overcome a sexually abusive past. Rana, who was born in New Orleans, sets Blood Sky along the Mississippi River, where a young teenager named Joely tries to escape life as the victim of abuse by her mother's boyfriend. Terry Schreiber directs this production, continuing the company's collaboration with Rana, whose critically acclaimed Bosnian War drama The Fallen was staged here in 2013. Learn More

Had a great time on the tour! The tour guide was friendly and knowlegeable. Loved our snack stops along the way. The meat pies at Myers of Keswick were delicious, as were the cookies at Insomnia Cookies. I would definitely recommend this tour for locals and tourists.
The tour starts off where the Oreo cookie was born, then heads up to the High Line to admire the views and explore the west side’s glory days as the city’s largest industrial area. It then enters Greenwich Village to explore its side streets, stoops, squares and sordid tales of riots, murder, abuse, artistry and spite.
You'll explore following areas:
- West Chelsea
- Meatpacking District
- West Village
- Greenwich Village
The tour covers two miles in a little over 3 hours. Wear comfortable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather, as the tours go on rain or shine.

Guide gratuities are not included in the tour price. While not mandatory, they are always appreciated.
The tour ends near Washington Square Park in the heart of Greenwich Village.
