Since the late 1990s, Bane has been a staple of the East Coast hardcore movement, holding high the straightedge flag and playing an aggressive brand of punk that induces heavy slam dancing and raucous mosh pits. The band released a succession of albums on Equal Vision Records over the years -- including 1999's It All Comes Down to This
, 2001's popular Give Blood
and 2005's The Note
-- but has been silent for nearly a decade. Now back off a nine-year hiatus, Bane released one final album (2014's Don't Wait Up
) and is performing around the country this summer before retiring for good. East Coast hardcore newbies Rude Awakening open at this concert in The Marlin Room at Webster Hall.
