- Our Price:
- $25.00 - $60.00
Two jazz greats are sharing the stage at Lincoln Center: three-time Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist Christian McBride and jazz guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel. McBride emerged in the '90s as a young superstar of modern jazz and stuck it out to become an established and respected presence on the jazz scene today. One of the most recorded musicians of his generation, McBride has played alongside the likes of Paul McCartney, Isaac Hayes, Freddie Hubbard, McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Sting, The Roots and James Brown. Rosenwinkel quickly became a force on the New York jazz scene as an innovative bandleader, composer and improviser. He has worked as a leader and sideman with the likes of Joe Henderson, Brian Blade, Joshua Redman and Danilo Perez. The full Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will appear with these two great musicians for a night of dense harmonies and gorgeous melodies. Learn More

I thoroughly enjoyed the Israeli Gesher Theater's production of Enemies, A Love Story. The acting was excellent, the staging was creative and unique, especially the use of large, close-up film clips to accompany the live action on stage. I hope Lincoln Center will invite Gesher to perform again soon. They are a top-notch repertoire theater company!
