This is a highly entertaining and fact-filled tour that focuses on Little Italy, Nolita (North of Little Italy), Chinatown and the court and criminal justice building of lower Manhattan. The tour guide has a wealth of knowledge of how the system works and has first hand stories to tell. He was excellent. I appreciated the fact that he built in a quick refreshment break (at Ferrerra's in Little Italy) into the tour.
The title of this tour might lead you to believe that this tour is going to talk about the TV Show "Law and Order." While it does, it actually is more about the criminal justice system, crime and punishment. It talked a lot about organized crime, gangsters, and movies made in NY.
The tour finishes two subway stops south of where you start, at Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall station.
Our tour group was only 4 people and I felt that we got exceptional care and attention.
