Most area restaurants and the ones in the Met building are pricey ($$$$). Use Google maps or restaurant guides to find more moderately priced ($$-$$$) neighborhood places.

While I do love theater,i found out that operas are on a different level. It was quite long and you have to be very patient when reading the language which could be GERMAN,FRENCH OR POSSIBLY ITALIAN. Most people enjoyed the champagne.

The production was terrific despite the cell phone in the row behind us. Not sure the acoustics are the best in rear orchestra -- have sat further up before and will try higher next time.
