This tour was excellent! I'm a native New Yorker, and I'm also a fan of history, but our tourguide, Max, blew me away with his wealth of knowledge. The best part is that he's a great storyteller. He doesn't just throw facts and numbers at you. ...continued

My husband and I went on the Bridge tour this past weekend. We have been on at least 4 different walking tours and Max by far is the best. He is very informative and knows so much about the area. Don't miss out on his tours! You won't be sorry!

Description

In addition to walking across one of the greatest engineering feats of the 19th century, the Brooklyn Bridge, we will explore two unique Brooklyn neighborhoods:  D.U.M.B.O. and Brooklyn Heights. We’ll also rewind the clock and learn about the largest battle of the American Revolution to see where George Washington staged his “midnight escape.”

This tour runs about three hours, and covers about three miles on foot.  Some uphill walking is required.  Each participant will receive a bottle of water and a chocolate sample during the walk.  Please note that the tour usually ends in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn (the tour crosses the bridge one way).  Directions for the short subway ride back to Manhattan will be provided.
