The music was great but the venue is set up to get at your wallet. My Goldstar seat was behind a pillar. When I asked to be moved they said they would give me a better seat for ten dollars. I agreed and they moved me. Then the hostess came back, "you're a goldstar customer so it will be $25.". Eventually they agreed to let me sit at the bar for no extra cost.

Great show! James Carter is a phenomenal player and must be seen!
With regards to the venue: nice club, good seats (we had our own table) and sound, decent food. A little more expensive than the Blue Note, but at least you're not packed in like...continued
