There were 9 of us in our group.. Five of us who like to fish alot and four others that wanted to experience fishing in general.. We went on Friday, June 15th, for my birthday and Fathers Days. We ALL had a blast... The crew was helpful, changing our gear for the type of fish that we were fishing for... friendly and we even had fun with the passengers... We are looking forward in going back again and catching some Yellowtail... Oh yeah, I caught a hugh Barracuda, and happened to get into the Jackpot, which is who ever catches the biggest fish, gets the Jackpot... So, I took home an extra $155 bucks... Whooo whooo, what a birthday that was... I would definately go again..
When they say arrive an hour early, get there early, there is a process that they have to go through to get you registered, licensed, checked in, gear issued. Our boat left at 7:05 so if you think you can get there at 7:00 and be okay, you wont be... ENJOY....

The Freelance is the standard ship for this trip and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a full snack bar/kitchen (serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages) with booths and tables, men’s and women’s restroom, sundeck, huge bait capacity, and state-of-the-art fishing electronics.
This is a great trip for all experience levels, from first-time anglers to those who fish regularly.
Please note: Although weather is usually mild, be prepared and dress warmly in layers.
