The bathroom is located Nextdoor to the theater up a lot for stairs. So if that's difficult for you, go beforehand! Also, you need to ask for the key from the box office. Then use s key on the outside door and another key on the one stall bathroom door. It was fine for me but I did have to wait a long time for a turn

If you're taking the NoHo bound subway to see the show please give yourself an extra 20. The theater is on Lankershim but below the Vineland intersection.

I really enjoy these small venues as there is never a bad seat in the house. The six one act shorts were quite varied and entertaining. Heck, my 14 year old son even enjoyed it and you certainly can't beat the price.

Six of us went to this play - ranging in ages from 24,27,39,59,61,66. Of the 6 performed we thought 5 were really terrific. The actors were excellent. The last one had us rolling with laughter. For the price, it can't be beat!

More Information

Above the Curve Theatre proudly present its 4th Annual One Act Festival at the Actor’s Workout Studio in North Hollywood. Hundreds of plays were submitted from all over the country, and the ensemble narrowed it down to a select few, which not only captivate and entertain, but also speak to the company’s desire to produce quality shows for a diverse audience.

“Our goal in choosing plays is always to put together a balanced program with a variety of themes,” said Erica Brauer, president of Above the Curve Theatre.

This year’s festival will showcase six one act plays including comedies that will have you laughing at a young woman with a penchant for accidents, an audition with an un-likely scene partner, and a modern-day twist on everyone’s favorite princesses; and dramas which feature relationships, ones that are ending, ones that are beginning, and ones trying define what they are.
