Tribute to Presley, Cash, Jerry Lee & Carl Perkins
In the early '50s, a little record company in Memphis launched the careers of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis, changing popular music forever. On December 4, 1956, these young legends-in-the-making came together at Sun Records for an impromptu jam session, a gathering that would come to be known as the Million Dollar Quartet. Now you can experience what it would've been like to see these musical icons live in concert together as tribute show Class of '56 returns to the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. Relive all the classic hits as you're transported back to that magical time and place when rock 'n' roll was born -- a perfect Fourth of July celebration!
