Jorge Heilpern -- the singer-composer otherwise known as Tangoman -- brings his warm baritone voice and acoustic guitar artistry to the intimate setting of the Luna Star Café & Gallery, accompanied by some of his musical friends. Heilpern, who's been called the "Argentinian Aznavour," soaked up the musical atmosphere in his hometown of Buenos Aires, where he began studying classical guitar at the age of 15. He settled in New York, becoming an Emmy Award-winning TV composer and playing Woodstock in '94. Now, he's in South Florida, sharing his take on the much loved and most famous songs of the South American tango. Heilpern is also a fine artist, whose drawings have been displayed in galleries and grace the covers of three of his CD releases.
