It’s a Bay Area battle as the Oakland Athletics host the San Francisco Giants in pre-season baseball. The Athletics’ roster this season features several young players, plus former Padres third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff. The Giants are led by power hitter Pablo Sandoval and one of baseball’s best pitching staffs.

There is also a free pregame tailgate party in Parking Lot A of the Coliseum.  This includes Q&A sessions, autograph sessions, and photos with former A’s players.  Present and former players and coaches will be on hand at the tailgate.  Parking gates open at 9:00am.
