Greek gods are goosed and Shakespeare is shaken up in two one-act plays, My Big Fat Greek Myth and Great Scott! The Scottish Musical, performed by members of the 2014 Gaithersburg Inclusive Companies. My Big Fat Greek Myth scales Mt. Olympus to find the gods throwing an epic shindig. But amid the fluffy clouds and flowing nectar, a snubbed party guest plots trouble. Pivoting from myths to Macbeth, Great Scott! follows the efforts of a ragtag troupe to perform a musical take on Shakespeare's haunted tale. Featuring a cast of adult actors with intellectual disabilities and directed by theater professionals, ArtStream's Inclusive Theatre Companies produce original musicals based on members' own ideas, characters and improvisations. Products of months of hard work, the plays showcase the unique talents of each actor. Learn More

The perfomance was great! however the venue was nice but it was not easy to see, if you sat infront of a tall person it was not easy to see. I took my kid who is 5'1" it was had for her to see, she had to put things on her seat to make her taller but then bloced the person behind her.
Student dancers from Washington area ballet schools perform with Easton Smith and Haley Henderson Smith of Ballet West (straight from their Nutcracker performances at the Kennedy Center), Puanani Brown of American Ballet Theatre, Sam Chester of Carolina Ballet Theatre and other professional guest dancers in this wonderful holiday tradition for all ages. OBT Artistic Director Patricia Berrend was a member of the internationally known Hamburg Ballet and a founding member of the Washington Ballet. As Associate Director of the Washington School of Ballet, Ms. Berrend served for 20 years as Répétiteur for Mary Day’s popular The Nutcracker.
