We were pleasantly surprised at this charming outdoor venue - very beautiful and peaceful. The actors did a wonderful job. They served snacks & hot chocolate during intermission. Tip: Bring a little stadium chair to put on top of the bench for back support and a blanket. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended!

Some of the actors need to better project their voices. Acting very good.
Our third visit. Thank you.

The Orinda Community Center Amphitheater is a great venue to see a play in the summer. It is small and intimate, and surrounded by trees that tower over the audience. Nice ambiance for a spooky murder mystery.

Description

In this superlative mystery statuettes of little soldier boys on the mantel of a house on an island off the coast of Devon fall to the floor and break one by one as those in the house succumb to a diabolical avenger. A nursery rhyme tells how each of the ten “soldiers” met his death until there were none. Eight guests who have never met each other or their apparently absent host and hostess are lured to the island and, along with the two house servants, marooned. A mysterious voice accuses each of having gotten away with murder and then one drops dead—-poisoned. One down and nine to go! The excitement never lets up!
