We were pleasantly surprised at this charming outdoor venue - very beautiful and peaceful. The actors did a wonderful job. They served snacks & hot chocolate during intermission. Tip: Bring a little stadium chair to put on top of the bench for back support and a blanket. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended!

I was really difficult to find this venue - lack of signage or lights - so I was a little late but very good production. The actor who played Dowd was very good.

I had to leave before the play had ended there were to many bees busying around Amphitheater.

More Information

A middle aged drunk, Elwood P. Dowd, has been driving his sister and niece wild by introducing everyone he meets to his pal Harvey. Harvey is a big white rabbit, six feet three and a half inches tall, which only Elwood (and occasionally his sister when she’s feeling odd) can see. The sister, Veta Louise Simmons, tries to have Elwood committed to Chumleys Rest sanatorium.
