A rarely performed Opera that fits well in this smaller house. Singing and dancing were well integrated and beautifully performed. The set was simple but very effective. Bravo.

Acts I-II was excruciating slow. I can't stand female singing male role. It may be the same range-soprano, but it is different sounding. At times the Orfeo character seemed to try too hard to sound manly, thus taking away from the naturalness...continued

Anyone who doesn't know Gluck's music and/or would like to expand their opera repertoire experience should see this production. Extremely well-done, with the chorus, the wonderful professional dancers, soloists, and evocative modern sets and...continued

A wonderful production of Orfeo in an intimate setting. Great minimalist staging and use of scrims & lighting was innovative. I thought the three prinicpals were very much 'en voce' and the small orchestra produced a big sound. Highly recommend...continued

beautifully staged, with good integration of dance and voice. This company makes the most of a small space. We will go to future operas here.

Exquisite singing, especially by Ms. Barber, the mezzo who played Orfeo. Evocative choreography by the artistic director of the Kunst-Stoff Dance group. West Bay Opera showed you can have an extremely rich production of an opera without a budget...continued

We have attended 4 wonderful, extraordinary performances by West Bay Opera, and one other one. "Orfeo ed Euridice" is the other one. The music and singing were beautiful. The staging and dancing were ridiculous: modern, avant-garde ballet and...continued

My husband and I both really enjoyed this show. The professional singers were of very high quality. Since it's in a small theater, every seat in the house was good. I would definitely go again.

Thought the opera was wonderful, although the seating was very misleading. Rear Orchestra sounds close and yet we were as far away as you can get.
