There is a public parking lot directly behind the theater, on Madison. The fee is 1.50/hour. Also, there appears to be various eateries near the theater. We ate before we attended the play. Nice area to walk about in.

A new restaurant has opened directly across the street from the Pasadena Playhouse. It is the TLT restaurant. Yummy food at reasonable prices.

Wonderful play and a great set of actors. The lead, who plays the daughter is very very good! Enjoyed the evening a lot. Great to see Richard Chamberlain on stage!

It had its moments, but overall, it wasn't a particularly impressive production. We were particularly disappointed in Richard Chamberlain's performance. He's a top-notch actor, but he just wasn't on his game this time. We had difficulty making...continued

Catherine Sloper, who stands to inherit a fortune from her ailing physician father, is a plain-looking young woman living under his malevolent scrutiny, as well as his well-meaning but cold-hearted demeanor. Dr. Sloper disapproves of Catherine’s passionate suitor Morris Townsend, certain that the penniless young man has proposed marriage to win Catherine’s inheritance. Catherine’s too much in love to consider this potential betrayal, and when circumstances lead her to misinterpret Morris’s intentions, The Heiress reaches an unforgettable conclusion that brilliantly supports the richly psychological nuance brought to the preceding romance.

Running Time: 2 hours and 20 minutes, with one intermission.
