Angry Planet's Peter Rowe Screens His Volcano Documentary
As the producer of the hit TV series Angry Planet, filmmaker Peter Rowe is no stranger to Earth's scarier side. He's chased tornadoes, filmed wildfires and sailed the notoriously treacherous Cape Horn. Volcanoes, however, are particularly fascinating and terrifying, even for someone who's seen as much as Rowe has. Beautiful yet capable of immense destruction, volcanoes give us a window on our planet's scorching and turbulent interior. Having spent six years climbing some of the world's most impressive volcanoes -- in Costa Rica, Mexico, Congo, Vanuatu, Italy, Hawaii and Indonesia -- with his longtime collaborator George Kourounis, Rowe has chronicled his adventures in this new feature-length documentary, and will be on hand for this screening in person. Let him take you along to the brim and give you a thrilling glimpse into Earth's depths.
