About the Comedians:
Jamie Lee is a cast member on the new MTV series “Girl Code.” Named one of the “Top Five Comedians Who Should Be Movie Stars” by Nerve.com and one of the “Top 18 Women You Should Be Following On Twitter” by Huffington Post, Jamie Lee is an unstoppable force in the funny biz.
Jamie was a semi-finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” co-hosted the first annual Critics Choice Awards for Vh1.com and continues to appear on Vh1 talking head shows such as “Undateable” and “Greatest Songs of the 00s.” She recently joined the cast of TruTV’s “World’s Dumbest” and performed stand-up on “Conan.”
Jamie writes for television, as well. She wrote on Rob Dyrdek’s MTV series “Ridiculousness” and will be writing on “The Midnight Show with Pete Holmes,” a new talk show for TBS, produced by Conan O’Brien.
Jamie’s acting experience ranges from national commercials to web series to feature film. “Kid Farm,” a parody of TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting” that Lee created with Front Page Films, was featured on HuffingtonPost.com, ComedyCentral.com and BestWeekEver.tv – not to mention tweeted with praise by acclaimed screen writer Diablo Cody. It is now an original series on Comedy Central’s CC Studios.
Ku can be seen as a series regular on MTV’s new female-driven comedy series GIRLCODE on Tuesday nights at 10:30/9:30c. GirlCode is the sister show of MTV2’s hit show GUYCODE. Ku recently wrapped filming on The Cookout 2 with Ja Rule, Charlie Murphy, Vivica Fox, and Faizon Love. The film was directed by Lance Rivera. She can currently be seen in a national Office Depot ad and an international Volkswagon television commercial. Ku was selected as a finalist in NBC’s Last Comic Standing Season 6. She was also selected by Howard Stern as a finalist in the Hottest Funniest Chick Contest on Sirius Satellite Radio. She has performed in the hit comedy Shear Madness, the longest-running non-musical play in American theatre history.
