In London, it won the Olivier Award. In New York, it won the Pulitzer (2011) and then the Tony Award for Best Play (2012). Wherever it has been staged, Clybourne Park, the provocative and wickedly funny play from satirist Bruce Norris (The Unmentionables), has thrilled audiences and enraptured critics. Now the Arizona Theatre Company brings this comedy of race and real estate to the Herberger Theater Center. Taking inspiration from A Raisin in the Sun, Norris imagines both the events that led up to the plot of Lorraine Hansberry's famous play -- then skips ahead 50 years to explore the present-day effects of integration. Come to a place where identity, race and ideas of home all intersect: Clybourne Park.

Had dinner at The District at the Sheraton across the street. We ate at the bar and had a date/bacon appetizer a Yuma date wrapped around bacon - we also had a pork shank and duck confit entrees both were exquisitely done and the prices were more than reasonable. Loved the service at the bar. Glad we had a great meal because the play was terriblestar this tip starred
