Comedy superstar D.L. Hughley headlines Tommy T's Comedy Club in Pleasanton. Clark (which is short for Erik Clark) was influenced by Dick Gregory, Richard Pryor and his Dad. Erik’s diverse upbringing in the SF Bay Area has given his material universal appeal with audiences of all race, color and creed. His comedic style is smart, exhilarating and conjured in good natured fun.
After being laid off from his corporate job Erik acted upon his childhood dream and started telling jokes which resulted in him winning the Sacramento Black Comedy Competition. Since then, Erik has performed all over the globe and has become one of the most versatile comedians; able to entertain in comedy clubs, colleges, churches, cruises and corporate events. He has shared the stage with A-list comedians such as Dave Chappelle, Paul Rodriguez and Tommy Davidson.
Erik is the founder of “Comedy for the Soul”, “The Kappa Komedy Tour” and director of the documentary The Nor-Cal Comedy Scene. Erik has an affinity towards entertaining the Troops overseas and can be seen in the comedic film The Hustle starring Charlie Murphy and the indie film The Difference.
