Religious faith and modern relationships collide as the witty drama, Next Fall, comes to The Sanctuary at Sandy Plaza. This Tony-nominated play follows a five-year relationship between two gay men: Luke, who is devoutly religious, and Adam, an atheist. Adam remains stubbornly unrepentant and unbelieving while Luke struggles with fears that the pair will end up in hell. Everything changes when Adam finds himself sharing a hospital waiting room with Luke's parents, who have remained unaware of their son's homosexuality. Told through a series of flashbacks involving the couple, their friends and their families, Next Fall is funny, touching, smart and unflinchingly honest. Learn More

Performance quality exceeded my expectations -- incredible voices and acting! As I was unfamiliar with the story in advance, I would have appreciated a few paragraphs in the program about the show. The writeups on the performers was detailed and informative. Quaint, small venue I had not visited previously. We'll see more shows there.
