The Alberta Rose Theater is a great, intimate seated venue located residential area of North Portland. Parking is a challenge but worth the attending if there's someone you want to see. Look forward to returning.

Super hip and casual. There are food and drinks available at venue, but the theater is in a great neighborhood to grab a bite before - the pizza place on the opposite corner is good or Thai Noon just down the street. There was plenty of on street parking in the area.

Everyone in the show did a great job. The theater was about 2/3 full, which is a shame, because performers love playing to a packed house.

Description

Capture the spirit of Mardi Gras with New Orleans-style music and fun at the Alberta Rose Fat Tuesday celebration.

Louisiana born-and-bred pianist Steve Kerin hosts the festivities which will include a second line parade, fresh oyster shooters, king cake with a prize for baby Jesus, a fortune teller, dancers including the recently crowned King of Burlesque, Russell Bruner. Bands, beads, burlesque and beer. Let the good times roll.
