Paula Cole, the Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter of such hits as "Where Have All The Cowboys Gone," and "I Don't Want to Wait," performs at the Alberta Rose Theatre. The Rockport, MA-raised Cole has released seven albums including her most recent, Raven, in 2013. Her hit 1997 album This Fire was entirely self-produced, and she became one of the first women in Grammy history to be nominated for an entirely self-produced album. Called "a feisty poet with a soaring voice and a funky groove" by Entertainment Weekly, seven-time Grammy nominee Cole often pays tribute to other artists during her live shows. Learn More

Though I was expecting more 'party' than 'concert' the event was good fun! The bands Transcendental Brass Band and Too Loose Cajun Zydeco Band were fantastic, great grooves and wonderful sound. The burlesque troop was brilliant, great dancing (solo and swing) and the striptease acts were artistically sexy ( Loved The Pink Lady!!!) Good times, should have been more full.
Capture the spirit of Mardi Gras with New Orleans-style music and fun at the Alberta Rose Fat Tuesday celebration.
Louisiana born-and-bred pianist Steve Kerin hosts the festivities which will include a second line parade, fresh oyster shooters, king cake with a prize for baby Jesus, a fortune teller, dancers including the recently crowned King of Burlesque, Russell Bruner. Bands, beads, burlesque and beer. Let the good times roll.
