Two of Americana's most acclaimed acts share the stage for a night of joyful harmonies and solid roots songcraft. The female folk trio of Red Molly -- Laurie MacAllister (banjo, bass), Abbie Gardner (dobro, banjo) and Molly Venter (guitar) -- are known for their instrumental chops and sweet vocals, not to mention their engaging live performances. They've been expanding their ever-growing fan base by opening for Willie Nelson, as well as appearing in Australia, Europe and at festivals like RockyGrass, MerleFest and Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion. Their first four albums did well on the Americana charts, including their latest, titled Light in the Sky
. They're joined by the husband-and-wife guitar-clawhammer banjo pair Anne and Pete Sibley, who won the Great American Duet Sing-Off on NPR's A Prairie Home Companion.
