Rose City Voodoo's Summer Island Jam I & II -- Music From Haiti to Hawaii
Take a virtual vacation in sound as local record label Rose City Voodoo presents a two-part concert series celebrating island music from Haiti to Hawaii. Hosted by Portland's own Madgesdiq -- known for his poetic flows and versatile rhymes -- Summer Island Jam I and II will be filled with island verses and vibes. Jam I features performances from steel drum master NW Panman, Haitian hip-hoppers Bel Mizik, Hawaiian indie jam-rockers Sons of the Late DC and none other than Snackmaster DJ. For Jam II, Sons of the Late DC returns to the stage joined by master percussionist and composer Kpani Addy and Mr. Romo.
