Three renowned choreographers contribute new dances for Northwest Dance Project's Spring Premieres
performance. The company will perform a work from NWDP's award-winning Artistic Director Sarah Slipper, who Dance International Magazine
said is "changing the way dance is created." To date, she has choreographed 30 original works that have been performed from Portland to Moscow. Slipper is Portland's most gifted and accomplished choreographer and knows how to mine the very best from her classically trained yet dynamic and fearless company. Then, revel in the artistry of one of France's most acclaimed and accomplished choreographers, Patrick Delcroix. He performed with Nederlands Dans Theater for 17 years and was assistant to the legendary Jirí Kylián. The third world premiere comes from Chinese-born Wen Wei Wang, considered one of Canada's top choreographers.
