It's 1996 and advances in AIDS medications suddenly leave a group of men who faced near-certain death with unexpected hope for a future. This award-winning comedy-drama from playwright David Zellnik centers around Puppy, a writer of pornography with a Marxist slant. An accident has left Puppy confined to a wheelchair, but his sexual fantasies know no limit. Sexually frank, hilarious and deeply moving, Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom deals with romance, disability, pornography, Marxism and the rise of pharmacology. A percentage of the show's proceeds will benefit the Cascade AIDS Project. Learn More

Thoroughly enjoyed this production. I vaguely remembered the movie from the early 60s, so I was aware of the drama to expect. I thought all of the cast did a superb job, and I'd highly recommend this to my my friends. The staging was very clever and the actors voices were easy to understand. Bit of an awkward moment at the end when the cast did not come out to take their bows - the audience didn't quite know what to do.
