Irish-born songstress Melanie O'Reilly and her quartet star in their acclaimed show Jazz on a Summer's Day: A Tribute to Anita O'Day. Known as "the Jezebel of Jazz," O'Day was a groundbreaking bebop artist in the '40s and '50s, famed for her improvisational rhythms and melodies, along with her sassy big-band renditions of "Let Me Off Uptown," "And Her Tears Flowed Like Wine," "Honeysuckle Rose" and "Sweet Georgia Brown." O'Reilly salutes O'Day's legendary career with a "breathtaking, amazing emotional intensity" and "sheer virtuosity," according to the Irish Times.
