Parking is expensive- $15. You have to pay at in the parking ramp lobby. Please note there are machines that take cash or credit and some that take only credit cards. At the time we left, the credit-only machines had very short lines.

Rosemont's MB Financial Park is on opposite side of garage. Good restaurants to choose from. Plus they'll validate your parking.

There were a variety of quality presentations, including many model railroads, a huge 6' airborne R/C shark, plus helicopter and car competitions. A real full size WWII M5 tank was on display, with explanation by the restorer. Most major...continued

It was a first visit for my 12 yr. old son and I and we totally enjoyed it. We would attend again but it's too bad it will be in the Chicago area for the last time this year.

Description

After 25 years of shows in Rosemont the show will leave for Cleveland, OH in 2012. Last year the show brought model hobbies to over 20,000 people.  iHobby Expo is full of exhibitors and attractions. The show promises to be a family filled event focused on the all model hobbies.   

The show is an introduction to a huge world of wholesome family hobbies.  Whether its model trains, R/C cars, boats, planes, helicopters, rockets, plastic and die-cast models, or anything like it, this show can fascinate everyone.  There is even a robot fighting competition.  You may never have a chance to get behind the wheel of a racecar, or fly a plane, or become an astronaut, but at iHobby Expo you can live out the fantasy.  

At the show you and your kids can:  

●   Fly an R/C plane or helicopter     

●   Race a slot car

●   Drive an R/C car                           

●   Ride a miniature train

●   Run a model train                         

●   Build a model  

There are over 500 booths and over 200 companies at the show to help you experience everything new and exciting in the hobby world.
