October 4, 2013: Sushi and Dim Sum
Students will learn to make three kinds of dim sum (American, Shang Hai and Hong Kong wontons), six types of dumplings (Vegetarian Tofu and American Pork & Shrimp, Peking, Tinjin Cabbage, Asian Chive ). Students also learn to wrap a sushi roll, use a sushi knife, cook Japanese rice, prepare Japanese hot sauces and more.
