This is such a fun show. Loved the Olio's between scenes too. It's not everyday that you can see an old fashioned play on a steam boat. Who knew there was a play about a Scottish Vampire. Looked like the actors were having a ton of fun with...continued

Another great production by the students from the University of Minnesota. Good music, good actors & singers and a very funny script made this a most enjoyable event.

We were very impressed with the show. Costumes, sets, were outstanding. Acting was strong. Voices were pleasant, even though few of the singers could really belt a song. We're recommending it to friends.

I loved it! It was a wonderful experience, and it has opened my eyes to wanting to see more on the Showboat. The actors (still in school) are better than some that's been doing it for years. Top Notch acting and singing.

Great fun, well acted. The intervening olios were better than the actual melodrama.

The Showboat is a great place. The actors were great and the story line contains humor and some great song and dance numbers

I just loved it. The vaudville act, set in appropriate period with costumes...and spoof-like edge given to the performance kept me smiling and laughing throughout the entire play. While the these university students are not "yet" professional...continued

Was fun, fun, fun. Good for any age group. You haven't really "gone to the theatre" until you get to boo and hiss the actors on stage.

We were fortunate enough to be in a very participatory audience. That makes it much more fun when you're around other people who are willing to boo and hiss the villain and cheer for the hero. The performers had great, animated faces and the songs...continued

The were too many olios that seemed to take over the show. They were twice as long as the scenes. The play itself was pretty short and not very good.

Thoroughly delightful event! The river setting is magnificent, the play was engaging, and the olios were really, really fun!

Classic melodrama with fun little skits in between. So much fun and the audience really got into it.
