We enjoyed the event very much. It started out a little slow with microphone problems but it got straightened out. The program ended with a standing ovation for all of the performers.

It was wonderful but defintely geared to peopole born in the 20s,30s and 40s. It was not top quality professional, but done wonderfully with a cast that had everyone over 55! The songs were great...a very enjoyable evening and worth the money...continued

Description

_Follies _is taking a Trip into yesteryear!

CCT is pulling out all the stops for its 4th Annual Senior Follies as we take the show downtown to the historic Balboa Theater.  Come join us as we take a musical journey to your high school reunion. If you graduated during the 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s, then you will remember all the crazy times at your high school dances, proms, cheerleaders, football games, choirs and glee clubs. It was a time when music was singable and understandable.

You won’t want to miss any of the eras from the Raccoon Coats, flapper girls and singing the “Varsity Drag” to the Big Band era with such memorable swing music by Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller. All the high school kids were listening to the radio and the _Billboard _hits of the 40s and 50s with legendary music of the Mills Brothers, Perry Como and Nat King Cole. The early 60s high school kids were running home after school to watch _American Bandstand _with music classics as The Lettermen, The 4 Seasons and, of course, The Beatles. Come join the fun in San Diego’s biggest tribute to seniors at CCT’s Senior Follies.
