Dame Edna workin it! Lots of audience participation, fun with the gladiolas. Except for not knowing how conservative SD is, she really studied the towns, etc to make it personal. If you ever sat in the upper tier of that theatre you so related to her jokes about not leaning forward!
Very funny, glad I saw her.

This show is hysterical. I haven't laughed that much in one sitting for a long while! If you are in the first 10 or so rows be prepared to possibly be PART of the show. The Dame uses audience members as part of the show and if she picks you, go...continued
Dame Edna Everage is probably the most popular and gifted woman in the world today. The widely-loved international home-maker, talk show host, gigastar, fashion icon, swami and most sought-after friend to the rich, famous and royal, is making a return to the United States with what she describes as her “First Last Tour.”
“_In this show you will see me up close and personal Possums, perhaps for the last time! Close enough to see my beauty and personal enough to feel my love, and even, in some cases, my reluctant disapproval. I’m sharing and caring with those who need it the most – YOU, my adoring audiences.”
Edna’s stage success is unparalleled. She won a Tony Award for her Broadway show “The Royal Tour” in 2000, and a Tony Nomination for “Back with a Vengeance” in 2005. Whether touring in her native Australia or in her beloved United States – “America is the best kept secret in the world, Possums” – she gives and gives and gives. Never have Americans needed to laugh, cry and give standing ovations as much as they do today. Her compassion is legendary, and her stage offerings possess a unique “edge”, due to the fact that she doesn’t need the money. Dame Edna’s inspiring publications have been placed in the nightstands of hotel rooms across the world.
This is to be a “First Last Tour” because Dame Edna has decided to devote more quality time to her seriously dysfunctional family. The jewels she will be wearing, her famous face furniture and her glorious gowns are all made from organic materials and very few animals have been significantly hurt in their making.
