Because of global warming, the captain explained, gray whales delayed their departure from Alaska to travel to Baja California. We did not see any whales and received a free ticket to return again. We went on Christmas Eve day and whale watching...continued

Excellent day! We saw lots of whales and dolphins too. The Captain was great in positioning the boat so we did not disturb them. It was very cool. Highly recommend.

Great time. The Captain located a pod of whales quickly. He stayed with the pod as it moved and repositioned the boat so that we all could see. The crew was very helpful. The Museum volunteers really offered a bonus of facts and observations. I...continued

Great trip. We didn't see any whales up close but enjoyed being on the water for 3.5 hours. The boat was perfect as it was high (for best viewing), quiet, stable and clean. Captain Jeff was patient in looking for the best spots, gave a lot of...continued

I love being on the water for any reason, but this was particulary enjoyable. I recommend going with at least one other person as you may spend time without the benefit of something to watch. Three other boats went out and did not see any whales....continued

I loved the ride and know I will do it again and again. However, if you signup hoping to see something out of National Geographic you will not be happy. Most of the time is spend hunting the whales, watching for spouts and tracking fluke-prints....continued

It about a 30 min ride out of the harbor and the captain tells you some pretty cool history as you go. It took about an hour and a half before before we saw the whales; a few gray whales. Then we promptly turned around and came back. We saw 5-6...continued

It was an awesome day out! Warm and the water was like glass. We went in the morning and saw several whales all around us, some surfaced very close to the boat so much so that you could hear them blow. My only complaint was that Captain Bill...continued

It was great, gorgeous day, calm seas, we got into 2 schools of dolphin that must have been a thousand. They swam with us next to and behind the boat riding the wake, a nice sight. We saw a humback whale and several grey whales. Lots of fun!

March is late for Whale watching, so we did not see very much. However, the crew did everything they could, and they had representatives for the Wild Life Group on board talking to the guests. I would rate the venue very high but If I go again...continued

Perfect weather; it's hard to forget the pictures with the dolphins were jumping all around the cruise ship and finally found the whale; eventhough he/she is just a baby but still a sight to see.

Super choppy day on the water, there were tons of seasick people, 3 in my group alone. Grown men barfing over the side of the boat, sick children, LOTS of green faces. We didn't see any wales this trip, but got readmit tix to come back. Bring...continued

The arrangments with Goldstar went very smoothly but the cost of the refreshments on board was excessive; my suggestion is to bring your own lunch!

This was an awesome experience that far surpassed any whale-watching that any of our Red Hat group had ever done! We saw numerous whales, including a mother and calf, and a pod that were busily engaged in mating, plus dozens of dolphins that were...continued
