The world-famous Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra comes west for one night only, bringing with it one of the greatest pianists ever to grace a concert stage: the 22-time Grammy-winning legend Chick Corea. Corea pioneered electric jazz fusion as a member of Miles Davis' band in the '60s, led '70s fusion superstars Return to Forever and has shined as a solo artist, and in duos and trios for more than 50 years, picking up a whopping 63 Grammy nominations along the way. He's collaborated with a bunch of greats, including Stanley Clarke, Gary Burton, Bela Fleck and many more, and explored everything from straight-ahead jazz to avant-garde, bebop to fusion and children's songs to contemporary classical, always managing to remain on music's cutting edge. His latest is 2018's Chinese Butterfly
. This Jazz @ The Jacobs concert comes to San Diego's Copley Symphony Hall.
