We went to The Hopping Pig for Happy Hour before the show and just walked from there...Great Happy Hour!!! Everyday until 7pm.

the only place i have eaten and drank in the plaza is downtown johnny browns. i had soup of 7 seas and some beer. it was fantastic. the other food and vendors look wonderful. i have not tried them though.

it's located in walking distance to many hotels. it is on the trolly line and many buses and taxis are available. there is parking on the street and the concourse parking garage and there are several pay lots in the area

Frampton is spectacular but be fore warned, he didn't come on until 9 and the show started at 7. Sonny Landceth led off and he was fine but B.B. King made the show to... continued

Peter Frampton is back on the road with Frampton’s Guitar Circus and will be making a stop at San Diego’s Civic Theatre!  Highly praised slide guitarist Sonny Landreth will open the show, followed by a performance by the legendary B. B. King. Rounding out the evening, Peter Frampton will then take the stage for his solo segment.

San Diego Theatres is a 501(c)3 non-profit, public benefit corporation established to manage and operate publicly-owned performing arts theatres. We are responsible for the management, marketing, operations and maintenance of the San Diego Civic Theatre under the terms of an operating agreement with the City of San Diego. Additionally, San Diego Theatres has assumed the same responsibility for the historic Balboa Theatre in the Gaslamp Quarter under the terms of a long-term lease with the City of San Diego's Redevelopment Agency.

San Diego Theatres strives to positively impact the community through facility enhancement projects, the advancement of a downtown theatre district, and strategic partnerships for the enrichment of the performing arts for the benefit of the region.

San Diego Theatres was established in 2003 by the San Diego Convention Center Corporation as a subsidiary non-profit corporation. The strategy of San Diego Theatres is to position itself for growth and future independence as a fully independent stand-alone entity. This is a model that will allow us to capitalize on years of service to the community, while advancing into the future with focused determination to proactively improve the performing arts experience for the citizens of the greater San Diego region.
