The Aquarium was easy to reach by public transportation. I especially enjoyed the tunnel through which I walked. There were fish on each side and above my head! I took my time and just enjoyed everything I saw. It was fun watching kids touch fish...continued

A wonderful way for my grandson and me to spend a Sunday in the city. Well worth the discounted price. It was the first time for both of us to visit an aquarium. Lots of sea life to view. I got a kick out of seeing my grandson get so excited about...continued

Although this aquarium was smaller than expected, the emphasis on stewardship for the sea was consistent and omnipresent. The exhibits were great, the staff everywhere friendly and helpful. The hands on tidepool and ray pool were great for people...continued

Aquarium of the Bay is great. Simple, does not take more than 90 minutes to venture through so you can visit all the other spectacles at the Pier. Moving walkway was not working, so that is why I only gave it 4 stars. Employees were so nice to...continued

Aquarium was much larger than I thought it'd be. My 5 yr. old granddaughter enjoyed the "hands-on" exhibits, as well as the large walk through tanks. Well worth the regular admission fee, so getting it through Goldstar was a real bonus.

for some reason, even tho we visit pier 39 frequently we had never gone to the aquarium. I took my 82 year old mother and we both loved it. What an experience walking thru the tunnel. We were both very impressed.

Good for kids and the petting part was good but the fish on the first part looked so depressed and were in tiny tanks.

Great ticket prices, but for being a local the bay was definitely overcrowded. . . couldn't really enjoy it :(

I brought a group of adults to this event. We enjoyed the aquarium and its exhibits very much. We were especially intrigued with the jelly fish, nettle fish and walk under the bay tunnel.

Nice experience for kids when you have only a couple of hours to do something fun, not too crowded. It was neat to be in the tunnel and see all the fish floating around you. Go when they are feeding an it is even better. The touch pools are nice...continued

Small Aquarium by the SF Bay at Pier 39. They have a few touching ponds, to touch starfish, stingrays, and a few other fish. They have area for kids to learn and explore as well. I have been to better aquariums, but I have also been to much worse.

The Aquarium was on our list for a bay area day-cation trip, so when I saw the Goldstar special I booked it. This was our first trip to the Aquarium and although it is "aquarium-lite" when compared to the Monterey Aquarium (as others have said)...continued

The place is nice, worth visiting, and you may spend quite a bit of time there with you kid or friend. Although I have seen much more inclusive and rich ones in Europe, there is definitely a lot you can see here. They have nice underwater tonnels...continued

This is a great experience for marine enthusiasts or anyone who wants to see some sharks up close. We loved the underwater tunnels and would go back and see them again. At the goldstar price, it's more than worth it.

This is a great place to take your family with kids. It is interesting and engaging for all ages from 2 to 102! Being able to walk out and go enjoy a meal on the pier is an extra bonus!
