Smaller than the Monteray Bay Aquarium but well worth check out if you don't want to travel too far. Lots to see and explore. Even touch a shark.

The aquarium is smaller than what I expected especially for the price. Good thing I purchased through Goldstar so the hit to the wallet wasn't as bad. A great alternative if you don't have the time to check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The aquarium was a fun visit but very small when compared to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I mainly went to see the new giant red octopus and after a second visit in the day, I received a great show from the male. The two females were in the first...continued

The first floor is pretty standard but cool fish, the second floor is where it is AT-- a tunnel full of bat rays (which are adorable), sharks, and giant sea bass, and the third floor has a shark/ray touch tank, which is also awesome. And...continued

The tunnels underwater were amazing! There's also a touching area. The conservation information is very good.

This is a great addition for activities to do around Pier 39. It gives you a taste of marine animals around the bay. Plenty of starfishes, sea cucumbers, other small sea creatures and even a lizard to touch. The aquarium is not crowded even for a...continued

This is a great aquarium and is close to everything during our S.F. visits.

This isn't nearly as big as Steinhart Aquarium but if you take your time going through it, it is a great way to spend 1-2 hours. Read all the plaques and ask the...continued

This is DEFINITELY for family and people with kids. If you are adults, it won't be as fun. It's also quite short, so plan on an hour or less in this place.

Very calming. It wasn't crowded. The Staff was probably the best part of the experience; very friendly and full of information and facts they were eager to share. Very nice way to spend an afternoon. :)

We had a great time - One 4 year old, one 8 month old, and two adults. The mom enjoyed the Seek and find questionnaire as much as the 4 year old. He liked the sharks! The Aquarium has grown since the last time I was there (years ago) and there...continued

We went on a Saturday morning as a family with little kids. It was good to get in the tunnels before the crowds and have enough time to spend watching the traffic. HUGE sea bass. We loved the bubble where you could pop your head up into the...continued

What fun! What a great place, those underwater walkways are amazing, almost surreal when a fish swims above your head and you can almost touch it.

A smaller aquarium which is good for younger kids. I went with a two-year-old and it was just right for her. The ray and shark petting pool was a huge hit, especially for the adults.

Don't expect pretty colored fish and coral, this IS the San Francisco Bay. The tunnels are very cool, although tourists' walking and 'caring for their children' etiquette seems lacking. Go during feeding times, it makes watching the very gray fish...continued

Everyone was very friendly and so helpful. There were many fishes and me and my boyfriend even got to touch some sharks and sting-rays. It was enjoyable and very sweet.
