Best mystery show yet! Complete with twists, and a surprising vulnerability on the part of the detective, brilliantly played by Lisa Rowland. Star turns also by Ken Robertson. The troupe's many years working on long-form comedy pays off not only...continued

Brilliant twists on a terrific format -- they tell two stories at once, based on the audience choices. As the ending nears, they sped up -- alternating between the two dramas and playing multiple characters! About half the audience was new to...continued

Brought friends who had never seen improv before and they loved it! They could not believe it wasn't rehearsed, and said "laughed until my face hurt". BATS offers the best character- driven comedy stories in town. Don't miss it during the...continued

Brought more friends to share the delights! They all loved "Director's Cut" as the audience gets to see inside the action & the choices. Laughing until tears -- then a gulp of wine intermission. Friday night food trucks too!

Creative, unusually talented and hard working (and singing) actors manage to really involve the audience in laughing with them at life. They engage them in the show, especially with Spontaneous Broadway -- where the audience contributes song...continued

Director's Cut doubles your fun -- not only do you see a great show, but you see HOW they put it together! Tripple the fun when the actors argue with the director right in the middle of a scene -- the audience delights in the tug of war on how the...continued

Go. Take a date! First timers are in for a treat with the amazing agile cast. At the start, half the audience was new, and the other half were already excited about what was coming. By the show's finale, the whole audience laughed their way...continued

I love improv in general but "musical night" at BATS didn't cut it. I expect the cast to be able to carry a tune. Some could sing but most could not and it was painful. Additionally, the musical performed 2nd part of the eve just didn't work and...continued

Inventive, engaging, and you are pulled into the story with a warm invitation to let the laughter flow. Great place for a date and for friends. Leave behind any cares -- this will open your heart & imagination!

More than a spoof on Downton Abby, the BATS players took the stories to a new level and the audience loved it! Distinctive characters engaged in a fast moving plot with lots of twists -- moves faster than the BBC version, and with more funny lines.

See it twice and you know they are making it up on the spot! Everything changes, and no one repeats. Director's Cut is innovative, dynamic, and gives you a peek behind the curtain on how they make up the stories. Enjoy!

Surprises, engagement, and lots of fun. Very comfortable for newcomers and deeply satisfying if you've been to laugh with BATS before. The troupe gives the audience a rich mix of gently "laugh at ourselves as we cope" and "let's see how much...continued

Terrific format -- take your friends. With "super scene" you really get to explore how improv is created. Learn, laugh with the directors as the actors have their own ideas.

It was great fun and quite entertaining with the audience providing song ideas.
Go early and check out the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.

You never know what will happen when you attend an improvisation. On that night we had a lot of farting in our Shakespare play; 3 stars because the exercice is difficult, but the outcome was rather poor.
