More Information

Stand-up comedy has come upon one of the fastest rising stars in Portland, Texas native Steve Trevino. His lifetime career in comedy began at his second-grade talent show, with a side-splitting performance that earned him an annual invite to tell the jokes that made the student-body laugh.

Post high-school graduation, Trevino dove head-first into the world of stand-up comedy while working as a doorman at the local Improv Comedy Club and performing at open-mic nights. He quickly became the house MC after repeatedly proving his skills on stage.

Trevino also caught the eye of one of comedy’s biggest acts, Carlos Mencia; who invited Steve to open up on the wildly popular Three Amigos Comedy Tour. The friendship and chemistry between Mencia and Trevino has not only kept them touring together since, but also sparked a collaboration on a pilot project for Comedy Central. With performances airing on BET, Loco Comedy Jam , and Comedy Central, this self-proclaimed “Sexy-Mexi” is no stranger to success.

Steve Trevino’s uncanny ability to incorporate real life scenarios and stories into his entertaining and physical humor creates a wildly energetic stage presence that captivates audiences and keeps them laughing. It is this very energy combined with his rock-and-roll personality that makes Trevino’s recent relocation to Los Angeles, CA quite suitable.
