I had no idea who Jeffries was prior to his show and was thoroughly impressed. He gave an excellent performance, don't know when I've laughed so hard!

Jim Jeffries was about what I expected (crude, but funny).
J.B. Smoove was not a very good comedian. I was a bit disappointed.

JB smoove was OK at best, but I really thought Jim Jeffries to be funny.... Defiantly not a little kids or easily offended persons event... but still funny

More Information

Australian born Jim Jeffries is a headline performer in countries such as Canada, Asia, South Africa, Europe and the UK. Regarded as one of the fastest rising stars in the comedy world, his brash confrontational style has made him one of the most sought after comics on the world stage. Jim gets away with jokes that most comedians wouldn’t touch due to his ability to both charm and offend the crowd through equal measures.

Jim returned to the Montreal “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival this year, wowing audiences with his performances in the Nasty Show, and most notably, his one-hour solo show. In 2006, Jim made his return to the Edinburgh Festival with his solo show titled “The Second Coming,” which received seven four-star reviews and numerous other press articles. However, it is not all about filth with Jim. He is in demand for TV and panel TV shows and can be seen on ITV2’s “Comedy Cuts” and “If.Com Eddies,” as well as on BBC1’s “Heaven & Earth,” and BBC2’s “Never Mind the Buzzcocks.” Jim was also seen on Channel 4’s “The History of Offensive Humor,” in addition to ’The World Stands Up” and “Edinburgh and Beyond” for the Paramount Comedy Channel.

Also appearing is JB Smoove, from HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Smoove landed his first big feature film role narrating and starring in “Pootie Tang” with actor/comedian Chris Rock in 2000. He is now a writer and cast member on Saturday Night Live and has appeared on the comedy shows “Uptown Comedy Club,” “Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam,” “Comic View” and “It’s Showtime at the Apollo.” He also had a recurring role on The Lyricist Lounge Show, as well as featured on The Chris Rock Show and Premium Blend.
