Fortunately we had some hecklers in the crowd which Jacob worked off of and added to the hilarity.

It was a big flop, from the jokes to the technology fails (slideshow at the end didn't work leaving them scrambling and the stage aura tense). The host was the funniest person the whole evening.

More Information

After growing up in San Francisco during the “comedy boom” of the 1980s, it was no surprise when Jacob Sirof announced he was going make stand-up comedy his profession. He began his career as a local comic, but soon found himself invited to take part in the world famous “Just for Laughs” festival in Montreal, which was followed up by television appearances on E! and Comedy Central. He currently lives in Santa Monica, CA, which is probably a lot nicer than where you live. Jacob would love to do comedy forever, although he is a mere mortal, and will most likely die someday.

Sherry Sirof was raised in a tiny little mountain town, near Yosemite National Park in Northern California. She eventually grew up, moved to San Francisco, and became a stand-up comedian. In her spare time, she makes humorous on-line videos, which many creepy people seem to feel are speaking to them directly. Sherry has been featured in Time Out New York and Businessweek for her efforts.
