More Information

This is an all-day tour — it lasts for approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes and is a combination of walking and public transportation. Lunch break will be at approximately 1 p.m. It’s recommended that tour attendees eat a breakfast of quality and substance prior to the start of the tour.

To enjoy this walking tour, you must be able to walk up and down stairs, and up two separate moderate-size hills. For your comfort and safety, please wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes (no flip-flops or loose sandals). San Francisco has many micro-climates, so dress in layers. Wearing sunscreen and, perhaps, a hat or a visor is a good idea. Also, bring water, a camera and lunch money, and be ready to enjoy a fun day.

This tour is suitable for adults and children, ages 14 and older. It is not suitable for younger children. There will be restroom stops along the way.

All public transit costs incurred during the course of the tour for streetcars and buses are the responsibility of tour attendees. Tour attendees also assume the costs for lunch and entry to the Mission Dolores. Please bring cash for these expenses (dollar bills recommended for public transportation).

Please note there is a security bag check at San Francisco’s City Hall (accessible on weekdays only).

There is no smoking, and no pets are allowed.
