Ultimate frisbee is a pretty entertaining spectator sport. It was a chilly, windy evening — not the best for this game — but still plenty of fun. Despite the low turnout, the crowd was into it. The SF Dogfish have a mascot, an announcer, a couple audience-participation games between quarters, and a little raffle. There's a food concession truck, although we brought our own burritos. And the team came from behind for an exciting win. :-)
Come see professional Ultimate in San Francisco!
The top two teams in the West face off in a battle for first place. San Francisco beat Seattle by 1 in their last matchup in a thrilling come from behind victory. This is the last regular-season home game for the Dogfish.
This is the second of three regular season matchups between the two teams that will likely also meet in the Western Conference finals at the end of the month. The winner of the Conference finals advances to the league championship game, and both teams are looking to establish their superiority going into the playoffs.
Saturday is fan appreciation night, and we’ll be giving away prizes. Arrive early for extra chances to win.

- Ultimate is an intense fast-paced flying disc sport featuring full field throws, layout catches, and non-stop action. Continuous full-field running requires conditioning and stamina, and the hanging flight of a flying disc provides many opportunities for leaping catches and diving blocks.
